  Educational value??? Durability??? My dog likes em until they pop. It's hard to know how much to fill them, especially in the cold. They will burst.   Not as good as previous editions !

  I have been using editions of this book to prepare students for the ACT for 3 years. It's ok, but please be aware that the math on the real ACT is likely to be significantly more difficult than the examples in this book. Also the Science on the real ACT has moved on a bit since this book was written. As far as I'm aware, this book has not been revised significantly in 3 years, and it's time for an overhaul. Also, it is disappointing that the 2011 edition has fewer practice tests in it, than previous editions - one less in the book, and one less available in electronic format. The previous 5 tests in the book were barely adequate preparation, and now with only 4 in the book, you shouldn't be relying on this as your only resource to ensure that you are adequately prepared. 3/5 Kate Wooten (TN United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)   Not close enough to real

  I have been a test prep coach for 18 years and have prepared hundreds of students. I initially used the 2010 version and noticed that the math questions, for example, were virtually identical in wording and order to an actual released ACT test that i have seen, question after question, so close in some cases that only a few numbers had been changed. Then I noticed something even more surprising; I started to recognize questions practically word for word from released SATs, questions that probably wouldn't ever show up on a content-driven test like the ACT.   Nice small & rugged, HD Pocket video camera

  Customer Video Review Length:: 3:08 MinsOK lets start off with this camera is $149 keep that in mind.The 5.3MP still photos are fairly good, not to bad, but remember this is a video camera firsta dedicated 5MP still photo camera will take much better photos, but again hey these aren't to shabby it just depends on what your trying to do. Quick shots here and there...excellent and better than any cell phone I've had. At a wedding where you want crystal clear and sharp photos....well not so much.The HD video camera is pretty nice, easy to use and I was just stunned at the digital zoom.It actually works and works well, not to blocky or grainy...more so at the extreme 4x level but at 2x to about 3x the camera compensated nicely and actually cleared up the image...not sure how they do it, but they do.As others have noted, with rapid movement of the camera you will notice your image jumps or shakes.Now remember what I told you to keep in mind $149... 4/5 D.   Great little camera, excellent underwater!

  Customer Video Review Length:: 2:18 MinsI shot this using the Kodak PlaySport while snorkeling off of Ixtapa, Mexico. The water wasn't the clearest, but I did get pretty good results. It looked really great in the pool. It also looks great above water! I use it at my son's baseball games and I have been amazed at the quality. Hands down the best thing about this camera is the size. It's so easy to slip in a pocket and just carry around. Great little vacation camera. My only complaint is that the control wheel is a little small. I would often accidentally stop recording while trying to zoom in or out. You get used to it though and it is a minor annoyance.   Best Water Proof HD Video and Still Camera.

  I am a Canon diehard fan. But Canon does not have anything that compares to Kodak Playsport HD waterproof pocket video camera. At 1080P the video recording is acceptable. But, at 720p and 60 frames per second this camera rocks, the results are great. I have used it around and in water, the blue filter helps under water. I am planning to use this for our Disney World vacation this year in the Water Parks.This camera takes 5MP HD Stills, so now I have a camera that can take video and stills on demand wet or dry. I have other camera's in the same category like Flip and Samsung both do not compare, even at 720p 60 frames per second. $150.00 pricetag is also very affordable.Easy to carry, very user friendly to move files from the camera to the computer or directly to Youtube. Nightvision would be nice but most of my recordings will be in Daylight.   Big disappointment

  I have used Hallmark Card Studio software for several years but from the day I bought the 2011 version, it has given me nothing but problems. It seems to have some kooky bug(s) that cause some text and images to randomly disappear when you bring a card back in to edit it, even after you have designed and saved it. As you go through its various features, the program crashes on a regular basis after displaying a message about encountering a problem. I contacted HCS about the problem and they told me that there could be some software running in the background causing the problem. Is that my problem? - I have plenty of application software that runs with active background programs but they still function properly. What am I supposed to do, shut off all background programs to accomodate HCS's 2011? There are other smaller issues that I find annoying like not displaying the title of the card on the highlighter like 2010 did so you always know what card you are working on.   Not much new in this upgrade

  I am getting sick of Hallmark's evil ways. Why put out an upgraded product when there is barely anything new?I realize it is less expensive to make your own cards, but when you add up the cost of software, paper and ink, it starts running about the same as going out and buying the cards when you pay $30 or more for an upgrade with very little new selection. And lets not forget about the time it takes to make these cards, because time is money!!Shame on you Hallmark. You have such ability to provide a great product, yet you chose to rip people off year after year. I am going to start looking for a better greeting card product.If you have not purchased this product, and you have the 2009 or 2010 version, you are wasting your money if you buy this.   Many many helpful features are now missing - updated

  I haven't even started using my 2011 version yet and am already disappointed. I am soooo sorry I uninstalled my 2010 version. (It is not advisable to have two versions on your computer.) I have been using this software since 2007 and have been happy with the upgrade versions until this one. I cannot preview my saved projects as in the past. All this program allows is to look at a bunch of Hallmark icons and file titles in a MSwindows pane. The previous version showed the card in special preview pane and I could scroll through them seeing all the fronts. This was very important to me, especially since it allows you to bring up saved cards no longer available in the current version. I have over 800 projects saved and like to go back and make sure I don't send the same card twice and sometimes pull up a special saved card or envelope to send someone else.
