    Where: BOK Center, 200 S. Denver Ave.
    This singer/songwriter/guitarist has seven Grammys on his mantle at home and has sold nearly 13 million records, but hes probably best known as the guy who can make any college girl swoon. See him at the BOK Center tonight. Tickets start at $36.75.

    Man Up: Violence, HIV/AIDS and Young Urban Males (Red headings = Community events)
    When: 9am-3pm
    Where: Rudisill Regional Library, 1520 N. Hartford Ave.
    The featured speaker for this all-day workshop is Dr. Dexter Voisin, associate professor at the University of Chicago and a specialist on the effects of community violence and HIV/AIDS in African-American and Latino male populations. Marvin Blades and other members of the Coalition of 100 Black Men of Tulsa also will speak. Parental permission slips are required. This event is for adults and teens.

    Play by Play: The All Theatre Company Two-on-Two Basketball Tournament
    When: 5-10pm
    Where: Main and Brady behind Mexicali in the Brady Arts District
    This months First Friday Art Crawl just got sporty: Theatre companies from all over the Tulsa area are picking their best two people to go head to head in a 2-on-2 game to 20 points. The first one there advances to the next round in this single elimination tourney. Even if youre a horrible basketball player or if youre not part of a theatre company, head to the Brady District to support a good cause and get behind Tulsa theater companies as they bring you some of the towns greatest storytelling and entertainment. All proceeds raised go to cover the cost of the event and everything raised over that goes to the participating theatre companies.
