  Cheap, cheap, cheap!

  I ordered the plastic flip flop party string lights because I had purchased two strings in Florida and wanted more to surround the patio. When I received them, I was very disappointed in the quality of the flip flops. They did not match the ones that I already had, which cost less than these through Amazon. I am going to keep them, as they are better than nothing, but I will never order anything else from this supplier. They are cheap, cheap, cheap, but they cost a pretty penny for junk. 1/5 Claudia R.   CHeap. Not at all what I expected

  I'm not sure what possessed me to go by the way these lights look in the picture. I purchased them for my balcony and the line is so short it barely hangs a quarter through and my balcony is not that large. It's about 8 little 99 cent store quality painted flip flops with (only pro) what appears to be bright lighting. I still intend to use them but I'll have to buy more because the line is so short (again only 8 or so flip flops).   These are very bright, good quality lights. I'm using one in my son's bedroom for night time and plan to buy more for our backyard canopy.   I bought 2 strands of these lights for my patio. I love them! They're not very big in diameter, but they bring a little pop of fun and color to my outdoor space!   Stop! Don't even think about buying these! Terrible!

  These things are horrible. I thought the set would be a funny, goofy thing to have, but no. Actually, they're worse than a waste of money. You see they already look cheap and cheesy? That's a compliment.The police light is the only one that is worth even a penny, the other two (disco ball and multicolor ball) spin entirely too fast to be of any enjoyment. All three of them are really loud. And they require 3 AA batteries ... EACH!I opened the bottom of one to see what could be done to slow down the spinning. It's basically one tiny motor that rotates 3 plastic wheels using rubberbands. There's one little white LED or something like it in the police beacon and the multicolor thing. The latter is completely useless.And now, my hands are burning! I swear there's some kind of lubricant or something in these that is not to be brought into a home -- not as part of a toy. Why are my fingers stinging?!?   Amazing Technology applied with class and smarts

  LX5 Moonflower is an excellent light. I also have its big brother the J-Five by Chauvet. These are both LED technology and draw very little current. They also run absolutely cool. I have had these both running for ten to twelve hours at a time with no heat buildup whatsoever. No exaggeration, these lights have run for hours and hours. All our previous lighting systems had very limiting duty cycles. These have no duty cycle. Really. They go and go and go.The LX5 will add a nice mood to a small room (say 15 by 25 for my example).If you want a real busy rock show, the Chauvet J-Five is where you need to step up to.These lights are "dumb" meaning they have their own onboard light show or they will sense music and perform to the music (do not use a controller and are stand alone). They have sensitivity knobs to adjust the onboard mic to the level of the music you are playing.I have to tell you, without exception, these lights hypnotize people. Crank... 5/5 J.   I purchased this for my daughter's 5th birthday party -- a disco dance party. The kids loved how the floor lit up with the cool, bright dots. The light never got too hot so we could keep it on the whole time. It really contributed to the mood of the party. Easy to set up -- you just plug it in. I placed it on our mantel and pointed it toward the floor. I think the higher up you place the light, the more floor space the lights will cover.   Green Laser?

  I ordered this laser to make it the third in my collection. All three of them are different models from different companies. The first one I bought 3 years ago and have left on for weeks on end and some how it still works, granted it is only green. The second one I purchased within the last year. It is the most expensive, very loud, and not impressive, but it works. Then I purchased this one a few days ago. At first I was amazed at its brightness, but before five minutes had past the green laser stopped working.   Great Product for the Price!

  For my daughter's 10th Birthday Party we had a DJ Hero Club theme and I ordered these for the kids to put on their fingers. I liked this product specifically because the bands are elastic, instead of Velcro. The elastic made putting them on, keeping them on, and taking them off fast and easy. I did find that the band would slide OUT of the unit on occasion, but was easily put back on. All of the units worked for the few hours we needed them, with maybe 20% running out of power after 2 hours after being in a constant ON position. I would estimate the average running life is 2.5-3 Hours for each unit.   Disappointed in seller

  I ordered this from Blink Blink City for end of year parties for school classes. There were several that didn't work. Contacted the seller who said they would send out new ones immediately. Never got them and the seller never responded to subsequent e-mails. Disappointing!The finger flashlights are fun for the kids and are a novelty item that doesn't last a long time.   These went in everyone's stocking (even the grownups). LOVE them!! My husband has been using them for hunting (better than climbing up a tree with a flashlight in your mouth).   I bought this for my parents to use in their hot tub. The light show wasn't anything close to how it is depicted in the ad. It was still fun. Some of the various settings cycle quickly through the different colors like a strobe light. It gave all of us headaches within seconds. The part of the device that is floating out of the water is transparent. This distracts you from the underwater light show. It is this feature that makes the strobe light setting unbearable. The light coming from the top is blinding.Now for the positive: If this is being used in a hot tub, the light provided from the AquaGlow is more muted than the light installed in the hot tub. It makes for a more relaxing environment. Again, don't expect the underwater show to look anything like the picture but with that in mind, I'd say it is worth it.   I received the item on time, yet some of the metal sockets which shape the bulb were actually snapped in half in the box. I contacted them to which a response took over a week. I opted in for a return to which they finally responded. I was notified I could return the items to them for a refund - less 25% restocking fee... curious that they restock broken merchandise.   I got these inexpensive lights to hang outside for a party. They would not hold up in bad weather, but worked o.k. for me.   Good, but if you buy more than one...

  I have purchased ordered this lights first time to see how I like them. I was mainly concerned with the color - I wanted a truly warm, yellowish light. Since they were quite nice(apart from the horrible plastic smell) I decided to order another set. I am using them on the outside tree, so the smell did not bother me too much. When the second set came, it turned out that the lights have a different color (more into pink hue, and a bit 'colder" white).   Awesome twinkle lights!

  The points of light are so tiny and bright, but with a warm glow. I made a lamp out of it. I wrapped the string of lights around a 5-foot long piece of driftwood and hung it over my dining table. It looks fantastic. 5/5 I. Hamlin (NYC) - See all my reviews, October 14, 2011
